Take Heart Boulder Mug Take Heart is a woman-owned, craftsman-centric shop in east Austin featuring pieces from local, national and international artists. Andrea is obsessed with all of the ceramic-ware in their shop on E. 11th. $15 mug.

Lydia Garcia Studio Foraged and Scavenged Ink Art Local artist Lydia Garcia makes inks and dyes from her surroundings (think black walnut hulls in an Austin backyard, beets from local farmer’s markets, dirt off highway 71) to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Pet Portrait by Do It Up Pup. Local artist Christin Atkinson makes custom pup portraits from client’s pet photos, using ink and gouache on handmade watercolor paper. The pooch is surrounded by flowers and vegetation of the client’s choice (the artist has a background in Ecology/Vegetation mapping--native vegetation is her speciality!).
