Raven + Lily Yami Leather Workers

The capital city, Addis Ababa, is home to a group of women who work with locally sourced leather to create bracelets and bags. Kim Lewis has partnered with Raven + Lily to work with these talented women to produce the Azeb Leather Collection.

Raven + Lily is a socially-conscious lifestyle brand dedicated to empowering women through design. Raven + Lily helps employ marginalized women around the world at fair trade wages to give them access to a safe job, sustainable income, health care, education, and a real chance to to break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families. The Raven + Lily team invited Kim Lewis to collaborate on their new leather products -- and so we introduce the Azeb Collection, named after one of the beautiful artisans in Ethiopia who works with Raven + Lily, under the direction of a woman named Yami.
