The Azeb Leather Collection is designed by Kim Lewis and manufactured in Ethiopia by Raven + Lily, a socially-conscious lifestyle brand dedicated to empowering women through design.

When Kim Lewis moved back to Austin from Los Angeles, she discovered Raven + Lily's work and their purpose. While traveling on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", between sketching houses, Kim would sketch bag designs. With all the travel, finding a perfect bag was tricky. The Raven + Lily team invited Kim to collaborate on their new leather products -- and so we introduce the Azeb Collection, named after one of the beautiful artisans in Ethiopia who works with Raven + Lily, under the direction of a woman named Yami. 

Our partnership with Raven + Lily empowers HIV+ women vulnerable to labor trafficking in Ethiopia with sustainable employment, HIV care and educational opportunities for their whole family. The Ethiopia Collection includes leather bags made from locally sourced, vegetable tanned leather - we avoid chromium dyed leather because it causes excessive pollution, waste, and health hazards to those exposed to the chemicals.
